# Propagating LLM outputs is time violence

Please, never send me the _output_ "writing" produced by LLMs.

It is rot, it is a waste of my time and attention, and an act of time violence.

You are training the people you interact with to ignore what you, personally, are saying.

Everyone can tell.

If there is something you want to communicate with me, and you are worried about your ability to communicate in written English, know that I don't care about small grammatical mistakes, and that I have time for you.

If it is not worth your time to write, it is not worth my time to read.

If you are broadcasting heavily LLM-produced content on the web, you are a participant in a great poisoning of the well, and are personally undermining one of the greatest pieces of informational infrastructure humans have created.

I use LLMs regularly, for a range of tasks. I never publish LLM _output_ "writing" to be consumed by humans, because it is just so egregiously disrespectful of the miracle of human time and language.

You are only spending a few moments and firing double digit neurons _splurping_ out some nonsense.

Social media platforms are not showing your _output_ to thousands because it has anything resembling value to the reader, but rather, the 1.5 seconds before a user realises that there is no value burns a lot of time and attention in aggregate.

These platforms need a way to burn users' time and attention with minimal cortical engagement between each advertisement they pour into their users' feed troughs.
